Software that has to be right
We build systems for businesses with an obligation to meet: a regulation, an audit, a record that must still be readable in seven years. The work is unglamorous and the standard is exact.
Products
Polmai
Political advertising transparency for publishers. Regulation (EU) 2024/900 requires a label on every political advertisement and a transparency notice that stays reachable for seven years after the advertisement last ran (Art 12(4)). Polmai generates both, keeps the record, and answers the requests that authorities and researchers are entitled to make.
Built first for print, for Finnish newspapers.
Pysy
Permanent addresses for published documents. A document published through Pysy answers at the same address, unchanged, for the whole of its retention period -- and when something replaces it, the page says so rather than quietly becoming something else. An address printed on paper or encoded in a QR code keeps working.
For terms as they stood on the day a customer agreed to them, certificates cited by number, statutory publications, technical documentation reached from a nameplate -- anything finished when it is published and relied on by somebody else. Polmai is its first customer.
How we work
- The obligation comes first. Where a requirement rests on a regulation, we cite the article, so you can check it rather than trust us.
- Boring technology, deliberately. PostgreSQL, Kubernetes, Linux. Plain HTML with minimal JavaScript for UI convenience. Never tracking users.
- Your data stays in the EU. All services run in Europe and all data is stored in European servers, on European infrastructure.
- You can leave. Your records export in a machine-readable format on request, during the contract and after it.
Nothing on this site is legal advice. Where a claim rests on Regulation (EU) 2024/900, the article is cited so you can read it yourself.
